Last semester I learned that the amount of effort needed is very different. Compared to middle school you have to work a lot harder to get good grades. Now you actually need to pay close attention in class and take notes. Also you can't procrastinate as much, or you'll be very behind. Lastly you have to do the homework right to understand the material
Test are a lot harder this year compared to last year. There is much more preparation needed for them. Instead of only studying the night before, you have to study a few nights before at the least. Something I need to work on for this semester is my study habits. I need to study for more time and in better ways.
I can agree! I also find that setting an earlier due date for myself can help me from procrastinating, I recommend if your having the same problem you should try this.
